Our sweet Momo, just 11 months old and so close to celebrating her very first birthday, has recently been diagnosed with Dry/Ocular FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis)—a rare and devastating disease that threatens her young life.

Just days ago, we received the devastating news that Momo is now completely blind due to the progression of her illness. Our world shattered. Momo is more than just a pet — she is our pride and joy, our little sunshine who fills our hearts with warmth and our home with love.

Momo isn’t just a cat—she’s our pride, our joy, our little sunshine. From the moment she came into our lives, she brought so much love, light, and laughter. She’s the one who greets us at the door, curls up beside us during tough days, and purrs her way into our hearts every single day. Losing her is something we can’t bear to think about, especially when there is hope.

There is treatment for FIP, but it is extremely expensive and requires a strict 84-day regimen of daily antiviral medication, regular vet visits, bloodwork, and constant monitoring. The cost can reach thousands of dollars, and as much as we want to carry this burden alone, we simply can’t afford it all by ourselves.

Ayúdanos a Salvar a Momo – Nuestra Rayito de Sol Necesita de Ti

Nuestra querida Momo, de tan solo 11 meses y a punto de cumplir su primer añito, ha sido diagnosticada recientemente con PIF Seca/Ocular (Peritonitis Infecciosa Felina) — una enfermedad poco común y devastadora que amenaza su corta vida.

Hace poco nos dieron la noticia más dura: Momo ha perdido completamente la vista debido al avance de la enfermedad. Nuestro corazón está roto. Momo no es solo una mascota, es nuestra alegría, nuestra razón de sonreír, nuestro rayito de sol que llena nuestro hogar de amor y ternura.

Momo no es solo una gatita, es nuestra alegría, nuestro orgullo, nuestra rayito de sol. Desde el primer día que llegó a nuestras vidas, nos ha llenado de amor, luz y ternura. Siempre nos recibe con cariño, se acurruca con nosotros cuando más lo necesitamos y con su ronroneo nos calma el alma. No podemos imaginar perderla, sobre todo cuando hay una esperanza.

Existe un tratamiento para la PIF, pero es muy costoso. Requiere un tratamiento estricto de 84 días con medicamentos antivirales diarios, visitas frecuentes al veterinario, análisis de sangre y monitoreo constante. Todo esto puede llegar a costar miles de dólares, y aunque queremos hacer todo lo posible por nuestra cuenta, no podemos cubrirlo todo solos.
