Hi everyone, I’m reaching out in hopes of getting some help for my mom. This year has been incredibly tough on her, and she’s recently gone through a series of challenges that have really taken a toll on her — both financially and emotionally.

Over the past few months, she was hospitalized, lost her car, and has been struggling with her mental health. On top of all that, she’s fallen behind on rent and bills, and is now at risk of losing her home.

As someone who never likes asking for help, this isn’t easy for me to post. But right now, she’s in a place where getting back on her feet feels almost impossible without a little support.

She’s been doing everything she can — reaching out to resources for rental assistance, help with utilities, anything — but hasn’t had much luck so far. I’m hoping to raise enough to help cover a month or two of her rent so she has a chance to catch up, stabilize, and either get back on track or find a roommate to help moving forward.

My mom works from home as a hairstylist and is doing her best to stay afloat — she just needs a little breathing room to keep going.
