We recently had to take my dog, Molly, to the vet due to her losing all mobility in her hind legs. We took her in, and they said that she has a slipped disc in her back and would need emergency surgery. We do not have the funds for the surgery, which is thousands of dollars, and we have to travel out of state for the surgery. We have to try medicine, but there's only a 25% chance that she will ever walk again. If she's not able to, we're not going to be able to do anything other than euthanize her. Being paralyzed like that is not a good way to live. I'm in real need of the money for the surgery, and I hope I can save her. If we don’t end up raising all of the money I will use the amount to pay for her physical therapy and vet appointments.
