Dear friends and Family,

 

As you all know Philippines have been hit hard by Typhoon Rai/Odetta.....Many areas, especially the south of Cebu, Cebu City, Moalboal, Bohol, Siargao and many others are completely devastated.

 

As many of you know Hanna and me, we have Roos Guesthouse in Moalboal.

we are very lucky that our guesthouse is hardly hit by the typhoon, but a lot of local people in Moalboal are hit hard! damaged houses, broken boats, damaged local sari sari stores etc. And all of this on top of the already terrible last 2y dealing with the pandemic.

 

Next week it's Xmass and I want to ask everyone who reads this message, to donate a small amount of money to help give my fellow neighbours in Moalboal a little light in these dark days.

 

Ofcourse many area's are affected, but we will concentrate on Moalboal, as that is our home town.

 

Our idea is to raise at least 1500euro (or more) to buy 10 kilo of rice per household, toys for the kids and some treats for Xmass for local families and give them Xmass back (as far as possible).

Our friends and family in Cebu City will buy these things in the city and bring it to Moalboal hopefully before next week when it's Xmass.

 

So please make a donation as fast as possible, so that we can help them as soon as possible next week. All donations will be handled by myself, so no 2e party needed. We will be fully transparant how we will use the donated money with receipts and photo's!
