Hi, my name is Jamie, and I'm reaching out to ask for your support for my sweet 10-month-old kitten, Milo. Milo is not just any cat—he's endlessly curious and has a personality as loud and vibrant as his purrs. He's always been incredibly vocal, letting me know exactly how he feels, whether it's demanding dinner or simply saying, "Hello, I love you." ❤️ But recently, tragedy struck, and now Milo needs urgent help to survive. Two nights ago, Milo escaped outside, and when we found him in the garage, our hearts broke. He was covered in blood and completely silent—something that, for him, was utterly out of character. For the first time, he made no sound and didn't move, as if he'd lost the will to fight. I feared the worst. I thought he was dying. A trip to the vet this morning revealed that Milo had been hit by a car.

The accident tore his gums and flesh around his tongue from the bone, leaving him unable to eat and in excruciating pain. He needs surgery that will give him a chance to eat and live a normal, happy life. While in the care of his amazing vet, he will also be neutered, a small blessing to help ensure he doesn't feel the need to go out again.

The cost of surgery and recovery is significant, and as much as I wish I could cover it all, I need help.

It's really hard for me to ask for help—I feel embarrassed and vulnerable, but I know that it's a necessary evil in order to ensure he receives the care he desperately needs and deserves.
