Hi, I'm Milo and I Need a Little Help

Hi there,

My name is Milo, and I’m a very good boy (or so my mom tells me every single day!). Recently, I started having trouble walking, and my mom noticed right away that something wasn’t right. She took me to the vet for a neurological exam, and they found a problem with my back.

They said it could be intervertebral disc disease, degenerative lumbosacral stenosis, or degenerative myelopathy—but to know for sure, I need an MRI and blood work. The total cost is $4,200, which is really hard for my mom to manage on her own. We don’t like asking for help, but I really need this care so I can keep being me.

I’m not just loved by my mom—I’m lucky enough to go to work with her at a childcare center, where I get to love on all the kids and bring joy to the teachers too (especially on tough days). I take my job of making people smile very seriously.

When I’m not at work, I love going on hikes, spending time outdoors, and even paddle boarding with my mom. I really, really want to keep doing all the things I love.
