Go Millie Go!!!!
Millie is starting to be her spunky self little by little. We are so greatful for everyone who is supporting her recovery!!

Millie started wagging her tail today and has alot more engery!!! We are very happy she's progressing so quickly.

Quick update: Millie is home and sleeping. She made it through her surgery and the doctors said she did great! She's started to regain a little bit of her reflexes and is trying to be strong and stand up. She'll be immobile for the next 6 weeks and for the next 2 weeks she is crate only, and then she will start her physical therapy. Thank you again everyone who has helped in getting her back to her wiggley little self!

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help for our beloved family dog, Millie. She’s a sweet, spunky 5-year-old dachshund who has brought endless love, comfort, and emotional support into our lives—especially mine.

Millie has been more than just a pet—she's my emotional anchor. Her gentle presence, unconditional love, and silly little tail wags have gotten me through some of my darkest days. She has a gift for sensing when I’m struggling and always seems to know just what to do to calm my heart.

Recently, Millie was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), a painful and potentially paralyzing condition that affects the spine. One day she was running around like her usual playful self, and the next, she was in pain, unable to walk properly, and scared. Watching her go through this has been absolutely heartbreaking.

Right now, Millie needs urgent medical care to give her the best chance at recovery. Treatment may include surgery, specialized therapy, medications, and strict crate rest. The cost of her care is overwhelming, and we’re doing everything we can—but we can’t do this alone.

That’s why we’re turning to you, our friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers. Any amount you can give—no matter how small—will go directly toward Millie’s treatment and recovery. If you’re not able to donate, please consider sharing this page to help us reach others who might be able to help.

Millie has given us so much love. Now, we want to do everything we can to help her heal and walk again. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support, compassion, and kindness during this difficult time.
