Give Mike the Farewell He Deserves

Here at Friendly Paws Grooming in Colorado Springs, we have lost a loved co-worker and dear friend. He never had much money and worked hard all his life to make a living. His family is struggling to make funeral and cremation arrangements, and we want to help as much as possible. We are trying to raise money for his family to help with his expenses and give him a proper farewell.

He was always at work, even in the freezing cold weather, and never complained about anything.

Mike was the kindest and warmest person. He loved to give hugs, fist bumps, and handshakes. He was a morning person and always shouted good morning and remembered every single person's name in the shop. He had a deep love for music and loved to talk about hard rock, heavy metal, and all the various artists he loved. He is already deeply missed. Many of our customers came from seeing him hold his sign out on the street corner and never would have found us without him.

We want to give Mike the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Mike's funeral. We need to raise $3,500 by March 7th in order to be able to afford the funeral service. Even if it's only a dollar, everything helps.
