Hi, my name is Roberta. I'm raising funds to help lay my son, Michael Cortez, to rest. I created this fundraiser on behalf of the Cortez/Solorio family. Michael was a beloved son, stepdad, and grandfather to Ray, Alex, Aaliyah, and lil Ezra. He had been fighting a long battle with leukemia. He passed away on March 4th, 2025, and is no longer suffering. He was a bus operator with Foothill Transit and also had worked for Metro LA. He loved his job driving. He had a big passion for music, and he also loved traveling and spending time with his family. He was loved by so many people and will surely be missed.
