Hi… My name is Niall Donnan and I met this young homeless gentleman Michael in Belfast City a few days ago. I bought him a warm drink and had a chat with him. Michael says that people are very kind during December but the other 11 months of the year the homeless community are forgotten about.

Atleast 46 homeless related deaths were reported in NI in 2025…

Michael asked me to post a video where he begged that we share it far and wide to raise more awareness about the homeless crisis in NI. This video reached over 100k views in 24hrs.

48hrs have passed since I met Michael and i cannot stop thinking about the poor man, out on the streets all day and night…

so I have created this fundraiser at the request of many people who saw the video and I will use the 100% of funds raised to trying to get Michael off the streets, into warm shelter over Christmas.

hopefully this can provide an opportunity and a platform for Michael to start to build his life back up from a place of comfort & support!
