My name is Merna Turcott, and I am a single mother of four children who are still underage, three which are severe in the spectrum of autism and motor challenges, one who also suffers from epilepsy attacks. Our lives were turned upside down when a devastating garage fire destroyed our home. We are grateful to be safe, but the loss has been overwhelming.

Right now, we are living in a cramped two-bed hotel room, which is extremely difficult for my children, who need stability and space to thrive. As their sole caregiver, I am doing everything I can, but the weight is heavy, and I cannot do this alone.

I have never asked for help before, but today I humbly ask for your support. Any assistance—financial, supplies, or even sharing our story will help us rebuild and give my children hope for a safe home again.
