Meadows 2nd Exploratory Surgery is July 12

Donation protected
If you've followed Meadow's story, you know she recently underwent an exploratory surgery on May 19.

They ended up removing her spleen (4-5x normal size). They suspected Hemangiosarcoma. However, Hemangioma is being discussed, which is a MUCH better prognosis.

She may have a REAL chance!

After three weeks of recovery, I noticed a large, brick-like mass in her lower abdomen.

I took her to the vet the next morning. After an ultrasound and needle biopsy, the veterinarian strongly suggested a second exploratory to assess the mass better and investigate further.

We DO NOT want her to experience a rupture.

She is recommending a second exploratory on Meadow, to investigate this mass and run further tests.

In the meantime, Meadow is on two new antibiotics to keep the mystery mass under control, until I can raise enough to get her back in for her surgery.

I do not have the resources to fund a second surgery, but I know that God can provide help, if it's in His will, for Meadow to keep living.

Meadow is young. She is strong and brave, patient and kind. She is a lover.

She has a best friend, and his name is Twig. If you haven't seen them on The Dodo, TikTok, Facebook, or Instagram, know that their bond and relationship are quite unique.

You can follow their story here, or on TikTok and Instagram: @heyitslee_bekind

I've wrestled with the decision of putting Meadow through another surgery, or euthanizing her.

At first, I thought I was "sparing her," when really, it is the financial burden that has pushed me into a corner of feeling helpless, not her circumstance.

Meadow deserves life, a quality one, and if this surgery can give it to her, I pray that we receive enough support to give her that last chance.

If we receive above and beyond, know that Meadow will pay it forward and help others who may not be able to afford a surgery like this to save a life.

And if we receive beyond that in a bigger way, well... I think Meadow, Twig and I just might trek across the country on a mission of kindness to humans and animals (and you could follow our adventure).

Meadow is just as important to me as I am to her.

Please support us and know that your kindness will never return void.

My heart will be forever grateful.

Be Kind to One Another, Always.
