McCoy is our 6-year-old mini dachshund. He has IVDD is causing pain and weakness in his hind legs. The condition is not uncommon in dachshunds. Our neurology specialist has estimated surgery to cost $6,000. We are seeking to raise money for his surgery through this GoFundMe page.

McCoy is a sweet dog with a bubbly personality - even when he is in pain. His condition is getting worse even with medication and crate rest.

We are trying to schedule the surgery as soon as possible. As soon as we are on the schedule for surgery I will post the date so everyone can know. The vet is very positive about McCoy’s prognosis because he is still has some use of his back legs.
