Hi everyone, my name is Mayra Jimenez, and I’ve been battling stage 5 chronic kidney failure for over three years. Three years of exhausting dialysis, three years of fighting to survive, and now, I finally have a chance to receive a kidney transplant—a chance to truly live again.

Piedmont Hospital of Atlanta requires me to raise $5,000 before I can move forward with the transplant process. This amount covers necessary expenses for my post-transplant care, ensuring my body has the best chance of accepting a new kidney. I have been working hard—selling shirts, speaking at events, and doing everything I can to raise these funds—but I need your help.

Every day on dialysis drains me, but I keep going because I believe in a future where I don’t have to rely on a machine to keep me alive. A future where I can serve my community with my full energy, advocate for organ donation, and simply enjoy life again.
