Help Marley Walk Without Pain Again
Hi everyone,
I never imagined I would be writing something like this, but I’m asking for help for my sweet dog, Marley.
Marley has been diagnosed with genetic hip dysplasia, a painful condition where the hip joints don’t form properly. Over time, this causes inflammation, arthritis, and increasing difficulty walking. What started as a small limp has turned into stiffness, trouble getting up, and visible discomfort — especially after playing or even short walks.
Watching Marley struggle to move when he just wants to run and be happy is absolutely heartbreaking.
What’s Happening
After veterinary exams and X-rays, we learned that Marley needs corrective surgery on both hips to relieve his pain and give him a real chance at a normal, active life again.
The total cost for surgery on both hips is $6,400. This includes the surgical procedures themselves, anesthesia, hospital care, and necessary post-operative treatment.
Without this surgery, Marley’s condition will continue to worsen, and his quality of life will decline over time.
Why This Matters
Marley isn’t just a pet — he’s family.
He’s the one who greets me at the door every day, who curls up beside me, and who brings so much joy and unconditional love into my life. He deserves to run, play, and live without constant pain.
How the Funds Will Be Used
Donations will go directly toward:
• Surgical correction for both hips
• Anesthesia and hospital stay
• Post-operative medications
• Follow-up veterinary visits
• Recovery care and rehabilitation
Any amount helps more than you know. If you’re unable to donate, sharing Marley’s story would mean the world to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for caring about Marley. We are so grateful for any support, prayers, and shares.
With love,
Pamela Vail
