Give Marley a Chance to Thrive

Hi, my name is Nancy, and I’m the proud mom of a brave and beautiful 5-year-old boy named Marley. From the moment Marley was born, he’s faced challenges most of us couldn’t imagine. He came into this world with a rare condition called Omphalocele, which caused serious complications requiring multiple surgeries. By the time he was just 3 months old, Marley had already undergone four major surgeries—and because of these complications, he needed to have a G-tube placed in order to receive the nutrition he couldn’t get by mouth.

Since birth, Marley has been tube-fed. He’s grown, gone to school, and shown so much strength—but as he begins to spend more time around other kids, I can’t help but worry. He’s starting to notice he’s different. He asks questions. And as a mom, it breaks my heart. I don’t want him to feel left out or set apart because of something he can’t control.

We’ve tried different therapies and approaches over the years, but none have been effective. I’ve done the research, asked the questions, followed every lead—but I’ve run out of options. It’s hard to say this, but I’m at the point where I feel helpless. And as a parent, there is no worse feeling than believing you’re failing your child.

That’s why I’m reaching out now. I recently found a highly regarded tube weaning program called Growing Independent Eaters, which has a 98% success rate helping children like Marley transition off their G-tube and start eating by mouth. This could truly be life-changing for him—not just for his health, but for his confidence, independence, and happiness.
