Give Mark a 'Leg Up'

On the 31st August 2020, the day after his 40th Birthday, Mark was severely injured in a freak motorbike accident near Loch Ness.
Mark suffered a broken jaw and a life-changing spinal cord injury resulting in paralysis from his chest down.
The months that followed were miserable for us and Covid restrictions meant that the only way we could see Mark was on video calls, which was just not right for our 4 year old & 9 month old daughters (at the time).
We have had to have our house adapted, including a home lift installation. Our local council haven't supported us and we've had to find the funds ourselves.

Whilst Mark is receiving one physio session a week of around 45 minutes at the moment, it's just not enough to improve his core strength, posture or muscle in his legs and we need this to maximise any potential return of the nerves working in his spinal cord again.

We have found that there are lots of wheelchairs and other aides on the market for people with paralysis but the most appealing machine we have been told about is the TEK RMD. Mark recently tested this product and we were both blown away by it.
It allowed Mark to stand up and move around our home and have an eye level conversation and most importantly made Mark feel "normal" again.

We would also ideally like to get a handbike for Mark so we can all go on bike rides together as a family and enjoy days out again more easily.

We've never asked for anything, we've both donated to charities and these types of fund raisers but now we're asking for people to help us by donating whatever amount could be spared. It would be massively appreciated, no matter how big or small and you'd be making our family incredibly grateful
