My name is Marion Durden. I'm a single grandfather raising my disabled 13-year-old grandson, which I've been doing since he's been six months old. I have just been diagnosed with lung cancer. I have spent the past 4-5 weeks in and out of the hospital fighting pneumonia as well. I now can barely stand just to use the bathroom.

My reason for starting a GoFundMe is because I'm trying to come up with enough to rent a bigger place to live with AC. We are currently living in a small camper that doesn't have the room for the equipment needed now or for wheelchairs to be used. The camper only has a window unit air-conditioner, and it's too hot and humid for me with the way I breathe now. I would just like to spend my last days that I can with my grandson.
