Give Marina (May's Mother), the Gift of Time Through her ALS

May's mother and my mother-in-law, Marina Arroyave has been diagnosed with ALS. Time is the most valuable thing that anyone can give, and our time with her is growing shorter. May (my beautiful wife in the picture), spent her time this summer in Medellin supporting her, supporting her family, and laughing with her as they embrace this cruel, cruel disease together.

To make her time more comfortable, we are seeking support to help with her monthly care. She will need 24/7 nursing, health care premiums, and transportation support to get to appointments. While we (Joshua and May), are currently supporting these needs, they are expected to grow and May will take an unpaid leave to support her with time.

So, Joshua made a stupid decision to run his first marathon at the timely age of 44. However, let's turn his stupidity into something meaningful by motivating him and sponsoring a mile for $50. He’s running the Twin Cities Marathon on Sun Oct 6.
