Marcia is a vibrant 14-year-old girl who has always loved to dance and play the flute. She has a heart of gold. a passion for life, and a special bond with her little brother and sister. But right now, she’s facing the most difficult challenge of her young life: she's in the final stage of kidney disease and urgently needs a transplant to survive.

Marcia's condition has forced her to limit the things she loves most —swimming, tennis, run, play catch, rolling on the ground, and play fighting with her siblings, as a determined and brave soul, Marcia has kept fighting, but she can’t do it alone.

Marcia’s blood type is B positive, and while a kidney from a donor with B positive blood is a perfect match, even a donor with O blood can provide life-saving support. We are reaching out to everyone in the community to help find a match for Marcia, and to support her family during this incredibly difficult time.

Her mother is her primary caregiver but being a single mom and balancing work with taking Marcia to doctors’ appointments, dialysis sessions. Marcia’s mom is doing everything she can, but the financial and emotional strain is significant. Money will help the donor pay their bills while testing and surgery is being done. Money will go toward Marcia for any recovery items she needs to make her recovery journey go as smooth as possible. of course, for any and all medical bills. Help with rent since mother is not going to be working during surgery and recovery.
