Last Saturday, my cousin Mallisa lost her mom unexpectedly. While she’s grieving this heartbreaking loss, she’s also facing the urgent challenge of taking care of her mom’s apartment, belongings, and pets.

Mallisa only has until the 15th of this month to vacate her mom’s apartment unless rent is paid for one more month. We’re hoping to raise enough to help her cover the rent so she has time to:

• Sort through her mom’s belongings with care

• Arrange for her mom’s cremation

• Rehome her mom’s beloved cats

The time and space to handle these things with dignity would mean everything right now. Her mom’s rent is $910, our goal amount of $1700 would also help pay for her mom’s cremation.
