((UPDATE)) -She's home! Levels are all stable, but they still don't know the cause for her kidney starting to fail. Will be taking her to regular vet visits to stay updated on her health and wellbeing. While Maisy has been treated now, the debt remains - and regular vet visits + specialized diet for her kidneys will cost money we don't currently have-
It started a few days ago, she wouldn't eat. Took her to the vet and they said she was walking weird, and had injured her hind legs. Next day goes by, wont drink or eat. Gets violent when we try to give her gabapentin for pain. We take her to the emergency vet and suddenly her kidneys are rapidly failing. Its costing $2000 just to keep her on IV for a chance to even recover. Regardless if this gets money or not, my family will tank the cost and deal with the debt later - but any amount helps. She's only around a year old and I've taken care of her since she was 5 weeks, and I can't stand to see her go just yet.
