I am Medina Worku , a single mother raising two blessed children alone. My younger son is Mahir Mohammed who lost his hearing and speaking ability due to severe illness he has been facing after some days he was born. Even if he was taking different types of diagnosis in different medical institutions no significant improvement was shown. After I understand my son problem and thinking that he will never hear my voice, his sister’s laughter, his friends’ voice and all the sounds around him my heart is always broken.

Then St. Paul’s hospital medical team gave a decision Mahir to move abroad in order to get specialized surgery by advance medical experts. The treatment is cochlear implant surgery which presents a substantial opportunity for Mahir to gain his hearing and speaking ability this may supported by the necessary therapy to develop his spoken language skill. Meanwhile I have exerted the necessary effort to gather relevant information about the medical issues and found the real testimony of some people who had the same problem and now fully cured after they got medical treatment in abroad, I initiate the communication with the concerned body.

Brothers and sisters, I hope you understand how much love the mother has to her children. The effectiveness of the treatment also depends on his level of age which determines developmental progress of his health situation so that he needs to get medical treatment on due time. Now i am not in a position to cover the costs for surgery, therapy, travel and accommodation, even far exceed than I can afford. አፋጣኝ የቀዶ ጥገና ህክምና ድጋፍ የሚያስፈልገው ልጅ ማሂር

መዲና ወርቁ እባላለሁ፡፡ልጄ ማሂር ሙሀመድ ከተወለደ ከቀኛቶች በኋላ ባጋጠመው ከባድ ህመም ምክንያት የመስማት እና የመናገር ችሎታውን አጥቷል፡፡ለረዥም ጊዜያቶች በተለያዩ ህክምና ተቋማት ምርመራ ቢደረግለትም የተፈለገው ውጤት ሊመጣ አልቻለም፡ ይህን ከተረዳሁ ጊዜ ጀምሮ ልጄ የእናቱን ድምፅ፤የእህቶቹን ሳቅና ጨዋታ ፤የእንሰሳትና በአካባቢው ያለውን ድምፅ መስማት አለመቻሉን ሳስብ ልቤ ይሰበራል፡፡

የቅዱስ ጳውሎስ ሆስፒታል ህክምና ቡድን ልጄ ወደ ውጪ አገር ሄዶ ህክምና እንዲያገኝ ውሳኔ ሰጥቷል፡፡ ይህም ህክምና በውስጥ የጆሮ ክፍል ላይ የሚደረግ ከፍተኛ ቀዶ ጥገናና ተከላ ሲሆን እኔም ለችግሩ መፍትኤ ለማግኘት ባደረኩት ሰፊ የመረጃ ማሰባሰብ ስራና በተመሳሳይ ችግር ውስጥ ወድቀው በውጪ አገር ህክምና አግኝተው የዳኑ ልጆችን ተጨባጭ ምስክርነት በማግኘቴ ልጄ ህክምና በውጪ አገር የሚያገኝበትን ሁኔታ ለማመቻቸት ቅድመ ግንኙነት ማድረግ ጀምሬያለሁ፡፡

ውድ እህትና ወንድሞቼ እናት ለልጇ ያላትን ኃላፊነት እና ጭንቀት በደንብ ትረዱኛላችሁ፤ይልቁንም ይህ ህክምና ውጤታማ የሚሆንበት የእድሜ ገደብ ያለው ሲሆን በወቅቱ ልጄ መታከም ያስፈልገዋል፡፡ እኔም ይህን የውጪ አገር ህክምና እና የጉዞ ወጪዎች እንዲሁም ሌሎች ተያያዥ ወጪዎችን ለመሸፈን አቅም ስለሌለኝ የመልካምነትና እና የሰብሃዊነት እርዳታችሁን እንድትለግሱ እየጠየኩ እያንዳንዱ የምታደርጉት እርዳታ የልጄ የመስማትና የመናገር ችሎታው እንዲመለስለትና የወደፊት ህልሙ እንዲሳካ ትልቅ አስተዋፆ ያለው መሆኑን ሳሳውቅ ከታላቅ ትህትና ጋር ነው፡፡

ስለዚህ ልባችሁ የተነሳሳ ሰዎች ከታች ባስቀመጥኩት አድራሻ ለዚህ ለጋ ልጅ ልግስና እንድታደርጉ በልዩ አክብሮት ጥያቄዬን እያቀረብኩ በፀሎታችሁ እንድታስቡኝ እጠይቃለሁ፡፡
