Madison recently had an anatomy scan and found out that her baby boy has one kidney missing and the other kidney is abnormal. This is causing him to not have enough amniotic fluid and will cause his lungs to not develop properly unless interventions are taken. Her team of doctors have come up with a plan to try to keep baby boy as healthy as possible and give him a chance for more time to develop in the womb.
A part of that plan is putting Madison on bed rest and having her stay at the Ronald McDonald House in Cincinnati near the two hospitals where she and the baby will receive their treatment. In addition, once the baby has arrived, he will be in the NICU for several months and be put on dialysis until he is big enough for a kidney transplant.
During the next couple of years of Madison and Baby Boy’s life, Madison will not be able to work, but her bills and expenses keep on coming. If you are able to give, that would be such a huge blessing to her and help ease the stress of worrying about her bills and allow her to spend more time focusing on her and the baby’s health.
