Give Mackenzie a better life

There are encounters in life that stay with you forever – like the one I had with Mackenzie. I met him while volunteering at a rescue center in Costa Rica. About eight months ago, he was abandoned right outside the shelter’s doors, left all alone with no hope. No one knows what he’s been through, but his sensitive and intelligent nature immediately touched my heart.

Mackenzie is about 2-3 years old, a loyal soul who is incredibly eager to learn and full of joy for life. Every day, I took him for runs or jogs, and he showed me just how much he loves the world beyond the confines of his small cage. But the shelter is no place for a dog like Mackenzie. Most of the time, the dogs are kept behind bars with little chance of finding a home.

I want to give Mackenzie that chance. My greatest dream is to bring him to Switzerland and give him the life he deserves. However, the costs for transport, vaccinations, and all the necessary formalities are steep – around 3700 CHF. I can’t do this alone, but I’m determined to do everything I can for him.
