Hello, my name is Victoria and my dog’s name is Mac. He is an incredible dog that needs your help!

Mac has recently had a spinal injury. A slipped disc in his spine has caused him to become paralyzed from his waist down. We have taken him to the vet and have gotten him comfortable with medication. We are learning to help him use the restroom manually and adjusting his living situation. The doctor says he only has a 20% chance of recovery with just the medicine, but if we could get him spinal surgery his chances of recovery would jump to 60%. The surgery would cost around $9,000. I live paycheck to paycheck and have taken out loans just to get him his medicine. Mac is my baby and has brought me so much joy. I want him to be able to have the best chance at recovery and live a happy fulfilling life. He is still a young dog, only 4 years old. Mac has always been strong. He is stubborn and full of life.
