This is my mom's best friend, Lux. He's only 2 1/2. Recently, we noticed he was having difficulty breathing. She took him to the vet and received sad news. Lux has heart failure. He needs to see a cardiologist. No medication will cure him, but it will help manage his heart failure. Lux was a rescue. My mom rescued him, and he rescued her. I want my mom to be able to have more time with Lux. She got an estimate from the cardiologist that doesn't include additional charges like medications or additional procedures needing to be done. My mom is heartbroken and I just wanna be able to help.
