Luna — who was previously known as “Mami” at the shelter — was one of the dogs at South LA Animal Shelter who had run out of time. Our nonprofit stepped in to save her, and now she has the chance to start a new life.
Right now, Luna is in a temporary foster home while we work to prepare her for the loving forever home she deserves. Like many dogs who come from overcrowded shelters, she needs time, patience, and resources to help her adjust and thrive.
We’re raising funds to help financially support Luna during this next chapter of her journey. Donations will help cover the care, support, and resources she needs while we work to get her ready for her forever family.
Rescue doesn’t end when a dog leaves the shelter — it continues through every step that helps them heal, grow, and find the right home.
Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us give Luna the second chance she deserves. If you’re unable to donate, sharing her story helps more than you know.
Thank you for supporting Luna and giving her the opportunity for the life she was meant to have. ❤️
