Hello Family, Friends, Colleges and everyone in between. I'm reaching out during one of the hardest moments we’ve ever faced as pet owners.

Our Great Dane, Luna (1yo), was recently diagnosed with a serious kidney infection that required urgent medical attention. What began as a visit to the ER in New years eve to see why she wasn't eating, quickly turned into an emergency situation, and we’ve now had to seek care from two separate emergency veterinary hospitals in order to stabilize her and determine the next steps. They' have now confimed it's Addisons disease, but she still needs to finish her intensive care treatment before coming home.

Luna’s condition required:

Emergency exams and diagnostics

Bloodwork and imaging

IV fluids and medications

Continuous monitoring and specialist care

Despite acting quickly, the costs have escalated rapidly due to the severity of her infection and the need for round-the-clock emergency treatment.

Luna is a gentle, loving soul and a true family member. Great Danes are known for their big hearts, and Luna lives up to that every single day. Watching her struggle while doing everything possible to help her has been emotionally and financially overwhelming. I've been in a ball on the floor with her at multiple vets in tears. I have never gotten to a point where I didn't know what to do next.
