I am making this Go Fund Me for our Luna. A couple weeks ago we noticed her mouth drooping on the right side, we made her an appt and was told it was nerve paralysis and it would resolve itself. About a week later we noticed the same side of her face start to push out, almost as if the bone was growing. She has not been able to blink with that eye either.. We called and took her back in and they did X-rays, when we went to pick her up that day we were told they were being sent to a radiologist for a second opinion, that was $850, today we finally got the results after waiting and dreading the worse. They are almost 100% it is cancer and that the bone is actually pushing on her nerves. we were told even if it’s not and it’s just a mass there may be nothing that can be done. They want her to be brought in tomorrow morning for a biopsy of the affected area so they can send it off and see exactly what we are dealing with. Within a couple days it’s already grown. We do not know right now if this is aggressive or what the next step is, the vet estimated it would be $750-$800 for the biopsy. She is everything to us, Iris and her have grown up together, she is a therapy dog, she loves people, she loves life, if you’ve met her you know..if finding out what we’re dealing with and possibly the next steps being to go see an oncologist, would give us more time with her we need to do that.
