Hello, my name is Andy Lopez and the reason for starting this gofundme is to be able to afford my dog, Lulu’s, surgery/aftercare. Lulu is a loving, six year old dachshund. Unfortunately, in her breed it is common to gain back problems eventually. Sadly, the chances of her being able to gain the mobility in her legs are very low, but we're still willing to try. At the moment, Lulu is not in pain and she's been very happy. Lulu's lifestyle has changed significantly over the course in a week, but we're willing to do whatever we can to make her happy. There's a few other expenses that still need to be covered, for example her wheelchair, playpen, puppy pads, any veterinary visits, etc. Hopefully we're still able to receive some help.

My mom and I got Lulu back in 2019, she was diagnosed with parvovirus as a puppy. So many things were fighting against her, the chances of her living were extremely low, however with the help of doctors, patience, care and love she was able to recover. Sadly things didn't end there for her, she had so many visits to the vet afterwards. From having issues with her eyes, skin infections, parasites and many more. Luckily at the end of the day she's been a fighter and the bond I have with Lulu is so strong. I very much see her as my fur baby and with the right help I know she can push through with this as well.
