Help Us Save Loui – Our Sweet Puppy Who Deserves a Second Chance

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share a very personal and painful story. This past Saturday morning, what started as a normal day quickly turned into a nightmare for me and my family.

While taking our puppy Loui outside to pee, he unexpectedly ran across the street. In that split second, a car drove by and didn’t slow down. It struck him and ran over the lower part of his body. The impact left him with multiple fractures, including a broken pelvic bone, a small joint fracture, and possible nerve damage.

Our vet gave us the heartbreaking news: Loui will need surgery to have any chance of recovery. Best case, with the surgery, he may regain feeling in his toes and recover. Worst case, we may have to amputate his left leg. But no matter the outcome, we believe Loui still has a beautiful life ahead of him — full of love, comfort, and joy.

Loui isn’t just a pet. He’s family. He’s like a little brother to us. Over the past eight months, he’s helped me through so many emotional struggles. He sleeps beside me every night, and his presence brings me peace in ways I can’t even explain. The thought of losing him is unbearable.

That’s why I’m humbly asking for your help. This emergency came out of nowhere, and we were not financially prepared for such a large expense. The surgery costs are included in one of the slides on this page. We’re currently just waiting on the funds to move forward and give Loui the chance he deserves.
