My name is Miranda and I’m trying to help my 19-year-old daughter raise money for her 5-year-old pug, Lola, to have surgery. Lola has a luxating patella, so her knee pops out when she walks. Lola has had multiple health issues since we got her 5 years ago. She has skin issues, breathing issues, and gets sick often. Two years ago, after multiple emergency vet visits and medication from her regular vet, we saved up to pay for her to have brachycephalic surgery so she could breathe better and hopefully help with her being congested and sick. After her surgery, she developed skin mites, which is rare at her age. That was a lot of vet visits and medication that took a long time and a lot of money.

So here we are with her leg problem, and it’s only getting worse. The longer it goes, the worse the surgery will be and the more it will cost. We just paid for the consult, X-rays for the surgeon, and blood work for the surgery. Now we need to come up with $3,600 for the surgery and need at least half upfront.
