Give Liz a Fighting Chance Against Cancer

We are the friends and family of one of the most amazing warriors on this planet, Liz Rainey.

Liz has been surviving and THRIVING with Metastatic Breast Cancer for the past four years and has recently seen significant progression of her tumors. Liz has undergone her fifth line of treatment to no avail, and her next best option is a clinical trial instead of continuing to cycle through various standard chemotherapies. She wants to find something that gives her a real fighting chance at stability with no progression or healing of her current tumors. Mostly, she just wants more time on this earth to love on her family and friends.

She has applied for different clinical trials, one of which is through the National Institutes of Health and the University of Pittsburgh. This particular trial has seen great results in other patients, with one patient having a complete response and going into full remission. This woman is the only person that has ever been “cured” of MBC. You can understand why we are hoping Liz can get this trial.

With these trials, her travel, lodging and medical expenses are will be very expensive, and she could really use our support. Any contribution, no matter how small, would make a difference.
