Hi everyone,
Our daughter Lily has been dealing with painful ear issues for years—and we finally have a solution… but insurance won’t cover it.
We never thought we’d be in a position to ask for help like this, but right now we’re doing everything we can for our daughter, Lily.
Lily has been dealing with ear issues since she was just one year old. She previously had tubes placed, which helped for a while, but they fell out when she was around five—and since then, the problems have come right back.
For nearly the past year, we’ve been trying to find a doctor who would take this seriously and actually help her. After a long and frustrating process, we finally found one who agrees that Lily needs surgery again—this time to place tubes in both ears and remove her adenoids so she can finally get lasting relief.
This isn’t optional. She deals with constant discomfort, infections, and ongoing issues that no child should have to go through.
Unfortunately, our insurance has denied coverage, calling this a “pre-existing condition.” Because of that, we’re being told we either come up with the full cost—about $5,000—or Lily has to continue going through this for another 12 months before they’ll even reconsider.
As parents, that’s not something we’re willing to sit back and watch happen.
We’re doing everything we can on our end, but we can’t do it alone this time. If you’re able to help in any way—whether it’s donating or simply sharing— it would mean more to us than we can put into words.
More than anything, we just want Lily to feel better and be able to live comfortably without constant pain and issues.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can give. ❤️
