Give Lilian a Christmas Miracle for house repairs

Hello all, this is Jack/J.I.
I hate to admit this, but my family has been through some struggles lately. My family got hit with a double whammy - our roof needs repairs (specifically, needs complete replacing) and a ceiling pipe in our kitchen exploded, flooding most of our first floor. The expenses have been pretty costly, and my mom, Lilian, is doing what she can for the bills.
I'm trying to help out as much as I can with the repair expenses as well. Unfortunately, real life things and personal medical issues have gotten in my way and I can only do so much right now. Normally, I'd be apprehensive about admitting that we need help, but after everything my family, especially my mom, has been through, I'm ready to swallow my pride.
My birthday is coming up in a few days. I do not have any want nor need of anything for myself. I just want to ease up the stress in our household and help lift some of the burden from my mom's shoulders.
As you all know, my mom is the kindest, strongest woman you'll ever meet and is literally one of the best nurses in Houston, having been chosen as Houston Chronicle's Top 150 Nurses this year. She's always been there for others no matter what situation God places her in. But she has been through so much lately, and after her dealing with Covid and all the struggles of recovering from that ordeal last year, the last thing she needs is to worry about is finances.
So for my birthday, I'm asking, privately, if anyone is willing to help donate to a surprise Christmas fund for my mom to help ease her burden. *Any amount will help.* I promise to do what I can to repay your kindness; right now I'm trying to help repay hers. The greatest gift of all would be being able to show her that we're all there for her, just as she has been there for so many people.
I plan to give her the proceeds of this fundraiser for Christmas and to surprise her with this post as well as some additional gift money from my end. Please don't spoil the surprise for her or my father until then and again, if you can help with anything at all, or even just spread the word to mutual friends of my mother's, it would be deeply appreciated.

Update 12/11/21: I'm blown away from y'all's overwhelmingly fast response. I can't express in words how much I deeply appreciate each and every one of you, and I hope to personally thank you all when I get the chance. Some of you wanted to see the mess we woke up to a few weeks ago so I decided to update the post with some photos of the aftermath.
Initially I set the donation goal to $2000 because I wasn't sure how well-received this fundraiser was or if it even was a good idea to start it in the first place. To be honest, this is my first fundraiser, and many of you who know my family and me especially know how hard it is to ask for help. After talking with some close friends and family about it, I realize that it shouldn't be about how I feel, but about how much I want to support a lady who's supported so many people in her community. So I updated the goal to the true amount of expenses my mom is facing. For transparency's sake, here's how much the repairs will cost:
$5,500 to fix the first floor
$14,600 to completely replace the roof
= $20,100 total
I've already saved up $3000 of my own in a separate account to help out and am trying my best to secure more funds for Christmas. The response you've given me has helped ease my anxiety and I know it will help ease Lilian's as well. Again, anything you can contribute helps; even if we can't make it to the goal amount, I know it will help ease my mother's financial struggles. And I promise, on behalf of my family, to repay your kindness any way that I can.
