Give Lilia a Future Free from Pain

My name is Nicki and I have suffered from endometriosis and its effects for over 20 years, since I was 15 years old. This struggle resulted in 13 separate surgeries and more procedures and medications than I can remember. But, this is not a plea for me. Endometriosis is hereditary and my 17 year old daughter, Lilia, is at the start of the same battle I began so long ago.

Thankfully, knowledge of this affliction is better than it was when I was a teenage girl. Lilia has the opportunity to have a surgery provided by a specialist that will allow her to avoid the pain and sadness that endometriosis brought to my life. I have seen her suffer these past few years. The disease has already stolen chunks of her teenage and high school experiences. Now thanks to this surgery I can spare her future torment. This procedure would afford relief from the pain and life threatening repercussions of endometriosis as well as head off the danger that it could steal her chance of being a mother herself one day.

The surgeon, Dr. Sinervo, is based in Georgia and has an opening early October. Despite insurance covering some of the hospital fees, the doctor and anesthesiologist are out of network. Leaving us with a significant bill. Anything is appreciated!
