Give Life, Give Hope: A Kidney Transplant for My Brother

Hi, my name is Sandy, and I’m raising funds for my beloved brother, Cristobal, who is in urgent need of a kidney transplant.

Earlier this year, our world changed when my brother was diagnosed with stage 5 chronic kidney disease (CKD). It was heartbreaking to learn that this condition runs in our family and was passed down from our grandmother. He has been on dialysis since February 2025, and while it keeps him going, it's not a long-term solution. He deserves a full life, not one tied to a machine.

Before this illness, my brother was full of life—an active athlete, passionate about sports and freediving. The ocean was his second home. He’s someone who inspired people with his energy and determination. But CKD has taken that away. Now, he dreams not of his next dive, but of the day he can simply live without constant treatment.

We’re incredibly fortunate to have found a matching donor, but the transplant surgery, travel, and medical care in India come with a heavy financial burden. That’s why we’re reaching out for help—to give my brother the chance to reclaim his life.
