Give Levi the Peace He Deserves

Unfortunately, my family has had to make the hardest decision ever. A decision no parent or family should ever have to make. But we knew deep in our hearts that Levi would not want to live like this.

Levi, unfortunately had cardiac arrest on March 17, causing his heart to completely stop beating until he was resuscitated by the paramedics that arrived on scene. Due to the oxygen and blood getting cut off to his brain, he has significant brain damage. There is so much damage that we, as a family, had to decide whether to keep him alive and have him cared for the rest of his life or let him go in peace and get the rest he deserves. We've thought long and hard about our options and what he would want. We kept him alive for over a month with no significant changes taking affect. It has been very hard for us. We don't want to let him go but the torture of seeing him in this state, hurts us over and over again everyday.

We have decided to finally let my brother rest. Let him have the peace that he so deserves.

In doing so, my family is asking for help to pay for the funeral costs and the cremation. Both parents are out of work at the moment and finances are tough. We would like to be able to provide beautiful services for family and friends to come and say their good byes.
