As many of those close to us know, our beautiful Laura has been battling stage IV metastatic breast cancer for the last year and a half. After numerous treatments that have yielded poor results, her body is no longer strong enough to keep up the fight.

Obviously, we are heartbroken and devastated.

This past week, Laura was moved into hospice care where her health sadly continues to decline. The doctors and nurses have informed us it is only a matter of time before she passes.

At only the young age of 40, Laura has fought through different illnesses her entire life, and just as she felt like she was taking a turn toward a brighter future, cancer came and stole it away from her.

As Laura was on disability, she did not have much of anything in terms of savings and no life insurance policy. Her husband, Allan, has been off work for over a month using FMLA, and while he remains by her side, it means he currently doesn’t have a paycheck he can rely on.

We understand more than ever that our current economy has left many with little to no disposable income, but if you have even a small amount to donate to help give Laura a beautiful end-of-life service, we would be forever grateful.

Any and all donations will be provided to Allan for end-of-life services, and any additional needs he has during this difficult time.
