Give Lahaina Healing. Spa displaced due to fire

Aloha, my name is Michelle Lelle. I am owner of Maui Botanical Wellness. www.mauibwell.com

I have provided wellness in Maui since 2011. My current wellness spa is a jewel in the heart of Lahaina Gateway now surrounded by heart ache, ash, and toxic water. Our beloved historical town of Lahaina burned on August 8th. My last spa guest barley escaped front street on her way home around 4pm that day. Had I not cancelled that day we both would have been trapped on all sides by the smoke, fire and downed power lines.

I began renovating my spa at the beginning of this year and completed two days before the fire. Although the spa survived, we are ordered not to operate due to the toxic water. It’s future is uncertain.

Through prayers and positive thinking I was able to find a new location north of Lahaina in upstairs at Napili Plaza. I will open October 16.

This go fund me will give me the money to open the spa and catch up on overdue finances since the fire in August.

For every dollar that is raised through this fundraiser, I will be offering as a credit for services to those in the community who need Massage And Wellness, that are unable to pay, or need a discount.

I have initially reached out to the majority of my massage guests, and so many of them have lost their loved ones, friends, homes, and are in need of Wellness, but unable to pay. As the days and weeks go by the trauma is increasingly profound as the loss of our incredible community sinks in, housing insecurity is increasing and lack of work is creating even more stresses and mental health issues. I get calls daily with those suffering through and desperately seeking peace and balance.

Shortly after the fire, one of the heads of the Maui County disaster relief program told me that my wellness services were more needed in the community than food, and I believe

them.

My initial goal is $10,000 that will provide a credit for the community to my new spa Lei’d Back Massage and Wellness.

This spa credit includes massage, light therapy, sound therapy, and infrared.
