It saddens me to have to write this. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be helping my aunt plan my 25 year old cousins funeral. With the permission from my Aunt, I decided to create this fundraiser so we can give Kyle the farewell he deserves.
This morning Kyle was struck on his bike at the intersection of Wayne and Warren in westland and lost his life.
The same corner he crossed everyday to and from work. Always making sure he was extra careful, he even made it a point to wear a headlamp so he could be seen easier in the dark. Kyle was only 25 years old and has so much life left to live. He was a bright young man and a hard worker. This is going to be very hard on my Aunt and Cousin Ryan considering we laid my uncle to rest just 10 months ago.
With Kyle being only 25 and just getting his feet on the ground in this crazy life, had no health insurance or life insurance. We aren't a family that usually asks for help, we are the helpers but at this time we need all the help we can get. My poor aunt is still trying to pick the pieces up after laying her husband to rest and now she has to grieve the loss of her baby.
Please anything you can give, even if it's just a share. Help us give Kyle the memorial he deserves. If you would like to donate directly to the funeral home, I will provide that information tomorrow when we decide on where services will be held.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
