Give Kristi a Pain-Free Life: Donate for Surgery

My name is Kristi. I’m 43 years old and I need a hip replacement. When I was 15 I was in a car accident which shattered my hip and broke my pelvis. I healed from those injuries but my hip has worn down over the years as I have developed severe osteoarthritis. I have walked with a limp for the past few years but it was nothing I couldn’t deal with. Over the years I have learned to deal with the pain. Now it has gotten so bad that most days I can’t stay on my feet for more than ten or fifteen minutes at a time before I’m in excruciating pain. I have always worked and been the strong one for my family. I have six children and seven grandchildren so I stay pretty busy. Now that I can barely walk I can’t keep up anymore, and I can’t work a steady job because it’s physically impossible for me right now. Things have been pretty tight lately and we’re barely living since I’ve been down. I hardly ever see my husband because he breaks his back for our family, to keep us afloat. I’m asking for help so I can have this surgery so I can return to my role as the caregiver to my family. Not being able to live a normal life and to care for my family like I should is killing me. My surgery is scheduled for April 29. Any help at all is so much appreciated. You have no idea how much of a blessing you are. My family and I will be eternally grateful. ❤️
