Most of you know Kosmo’s story on how we got him last June. He has truly fit into our family like he has been with us for his whole 10 years of life.

Sadly, Kosmo injured himself trying to play fetch with Cooper. His old German Shepherd hips are officially not keeping up with his young mind. We have already bought him an XXL hoister to help him up and down the stairs, but he needs more. We are looking into a doggy wheelchair so he can continue to play and run around. This will also help him move around in Montana versus being stuck in the cabin the whole trip.

For his size and what we are looking for to best benefit him, it is going to cost a lot. I usually hate asking for help, but this time it’s not about my pride; it’s about what is best for Kosmo. The wheelchair is roughly $500, and we are getting him steroid shots and medication to help with the inflammation and pain. We just spent a pretty penny on vaccines and yearly meds for both pups. Anything helps, and we seriously can’t thank everyone enough. We don’t want Kosmo’s journey with us to end just yet. He brings us and many others joy, especially at the softball fields. His mind is still so young and adventurous.
