Give Korky a Chance: Donate for Her Healing
Donation protected
Meet Korky!
Korky is a 4-month-old kitten who was attacked by something while living out on the streets. Why anyone would let a kitten out alone is incomprehensible to me. But she was rescued by a good Samaritan who called FFoM.
While at the vet, she was given surgery to remove the broken bones in her back left foot. That left foot is extremely painful with an open wound. The wound must be left open to allow healing. Korky is now on ClindaMed for two weeks, as well as Silver Honey, which is an antimicrobial wound spray that I am to use 4-5 times a day.
Now Korky must wear a cone and live in a crate while she heals. If her wound doesn’t heal properly, she is at risk of losing her leg. The vet is hopeful she won’t need that. She has a follow-up visit in two weeks.
Please help us help Korky and make sure she is able to recover. Once she is healed, we will get her spayed. In the meantime, we truly appreciate any and all donations (no donations are too small). Thank you so much!
