Give Kobe the GSP the Chance to Walk Again
Donation protected
Help KOBE the German Shorthaired Pointer recover! This is a high priority medical case that we have less than 24 hours to address, starting now, Monday May 5th, 12pm Hawaii.
Kobe is a 4 year old male GSP that was found abandoned with a serious pelvic fracture and bruising. He is currently on a euthanasia list and we are trying to give him the chance for recovery he deserves. If you know GSP dogs, they are the MOST loving, playful, fun, sensitive dogs and we can't wait to see Kobe living his best life again.
We cannot do this alone. His injuries will require extensive vet care over a period of 2-3 months, medical fostering, and physical therapy. We are raising an initial $7,500 to cover the x-rays, surgical intervention, medications, follow up appointments, and care he needs to get through this recovery.
Any funds raised in excess of Kobe's needs will be contributed to a local rescue organization. If the shelter chooses to euthanize Kobe before we are able to transfer him to medical foster, we will give donors the option to receive funds back or contribute to the local rescue. We are launching this campaign now because we MUST have secured funds in advance to pay for the care, in order to gain the confidence of the sponsoring rescue and the shelter in order to give Kobe this chance.
Please help us SHARE the word, re-post this GoFundMe, and contribute any amount financially, $1, $5, or $10, if you are able. Please share this campaign with GSP owners, GSP rescue groups, pointer rescue groups, and dog lovers alike, we need everyone's help to reach this goal.
We believe Kobe deserves a chance to see that he is cared for, loved, and we will walk with him through his pain until he is healthy and free again.
