Hi my name is Emily I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my best friend, Kobe. He’s been diagnosed with hip dysplasia, a painful condition that makes it hard for him to walk, run, or even get comfortable when he lies down. Despite his pain, he gives endless love but lately, it’s been clear he needs more help than I can give on my own. The vet has recommended a total hip replacement, which will give Kobe the chance to live a happy, pain-free life again. The surgery, along with follow-up care and physical therapy, is estimated to cost around $20,000 a cost that’s unfortunately beyond what I can afford right now since it would only be coming out of my pocket. I’m a student in college and only work a part time job. Raising this amount of money on my own is going to be extremely difficult which is why I’m asking for help. Kobe means the world to me. He’s been there through the last four years. Seeing him struggle just to stand breaks my heart. Every dollar will go directly toward his surgery, medication, and recovery care. Even if you can’t donate, sharing this page or sending kind words means more than you know.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping Kobe get the chance to walk, play, and live without pain again.
With gratitude,
Emily & Kobe
