Give Kiwi a Chance at a Happy Life

Donation protected
Im fundraising to help cover the medical costs and supplies to care for this sweet little kitten Keanu, or Kiwi for short. I found him outside of a gas station with what I believed to be a dislocated or broken leg. I took him in knowing that if I left him in the streets he would likely die of infection, starvation, or something else. I knew that I didn’t have the funds to pay for the bill that was going to follow, but I refused to leave him there or surrender him to be put down. He has such a strong fun personality, he's quick and energetic despite his injuries, and has warmed up to me very quickly. After some patience he now enjoys pets and cuddles and will make a great house cat. Upon taking him to the vet they discovered that his leg was caught in something, maybe a trap, and broken and crushed in the ankle bone, leg bone, and hip bone. For quality of life and his safety they decided that amputation is necessary. Please help donate to cover the costs of his amputation and recovery if you have any extra to give. This sweet baby deserves a chance at life. All of the money raised from this gofundme will go directly to the Kirkland Foundation and Palm Bluff Vet, the organizations working to help and heal this little guy!
