Give Kathy a Fighting Chance

I’m reaching out on behalf of my sister, Kathy Contreras. who is in the fight of her life. Recently, she was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The doctors have given her a limited prognosis, but we believe in hope, faith, and the power of community.

Right now, my sister is facing not only the physical and emotional battle of cancer, but also the overwhelming financial burden that comes with treatment. Without health insurance, she has been searching for affordable care options — a process that takes time she doesn’t have to waste.

Despite the challenges, my sister continues to fight every day with courage, faith, and determination. She’s more than just a patient — she’s a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend who has touched so many lives with her kindness, laughter, and strength.

We’ve started this GoFundMe to help cover:

• Medical treatments and medications

• Doctor visits and specialist consultations

• Travel costs for treatment

• Basic living expenses during this time
