Give Jose Dariel a Fighting Chance

On April 29, 2025, a miracle named Jose Dariel Alvarez Disla was born at just 28 weeks—tiny, fragile, and fighting from his very first breath. Since then, he has been receiving life-saving care in a clinic in the Dominican Republic, where he remains in the NICU under 24/7 observation.

Born prematurely, Jose Dariel has faced a number of critical health challenges including:

• Low hemoglobin and white blood cell counts

• Infections due to a weakened immune system

• Pulmonary bleeding

• And frequent blood transfusions

Despite all of this, Jose Dariel continues to fight with incredible strength and spirit. His eyes are full of light, and every small milestone—every breath—is a victory. But this journey has not come without immense emotional and financial strain on our family. The cost of care has already exceeded $10,000 USD, and his treatment is ongoing.
